If it's your first time travelling during the COVID-19 outbreak, you'll notice a raft of new restrictions and rules in place. Follow these tips and make your getaway to Serra da Estrela a smooth one:

• If you want to take food on the plane, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA employee will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for closer inspection.
